Position Summary
Vendormate seeks a trustworthy, highly-motivated, and detail-oriented professional. Vendormate credentials and qualifies suppliers and vendors for buyers in healthcare, banking, and other industries. We see both buyers and vendors as our customers.
The Business Development Manager is a new position defined to focus on developing new business opportunities through strategic partnerships. The Business Development Manager will identify, define, evaluate and manage partners that provide value add services to our vendor customers.
Responsibilities
· Report to Vice President of Vendor Services
· Manage all Value Add Services initiatives including existing Medcom Trainex partnership which provides online healthcare training courses to vendor representatives
· Identify new value add services that benefit the vendor customers by simplify the process to become compliant with the healthcare systems vendor credentialing requirements.
· Negotiate competitive prices for our vendor customers and attractive revenue share or marketing referral fees for Vendormate.
· Work with Product Management Office to define and prioritize product development requests to feature partners in our application.
· Define and execute campaigns to drive awareness and usage of value add services.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or management discipline
· Previous work experience in sales, management, or product development preferred
· Ethical, energetic, focused on solving problems
· Team oriented person
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication, negotiation, sales and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask successfully
· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential
