Vendormate, Inc, a premier Atlanta based Technology Company, is seeking someone with 1-5 years of experience whose primary responsibility will be design, coding and testing of secure web application software using latest web 2.0 technologies. Candidates must enjoy working with open source software and cutting edge technologies. Candidates will contribute to existing and new Vendormate products and services, and will have an opportunity to work in an agile fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Latest Spring, Hibernate, Webflow and Security frameworks
- Ajax, YUI, GWT, (X)HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, Flash & Flex
- J2EE (Java Servlets, JSPs, WebServices)
- Eclipse, Tomcat, CVS & Subversion
- JDBC (SQL) with PostgreSQL database
- Cross-browser UI design experience
Most importantly ability to design and develop rich user interface using latest open source frameworks. Ability to work in a team is of paramount importance.
Good to have skills (Any of them)
- Good Linux system administration skills
- Server configuration & maintenance etc.
- ETL & Data warehousing and reporting experience, specifically using open source framework like JasperBI Suite, Kettle, OLAP Schema design, Star Schema etc.
- PostgreSQL configuration, HA PostgreSQL Cluster and PITR
- Xen (Red Hat Enterprise) Virtualization, configuration and tuning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related area
- 1-5 years experience
- US Citizen or Green Card
- Ability to acquire new skills efficiently
- Thrives in collaborative environment
- Good communication skills
